I am an Illinois Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing in various clinical settings for more than 30 years.
I received my PhD in clinical psychology in 1986, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where I then served as a Staff Psychologist in the Eating Disorders Program. I worked for 8 years at Four Winds-Chicago, a private psychiatric hospital where I developed and was Director of the Trauma Service, consulted as part of the Eating Disorder Service, was a Clinical Leader on a unit specializing in the treatment of severe personality disorders, and supervised post-doctoral fellows. This was followed by 12 years in private practice in Chicago. In 2010 I began 5 years of work at The Family Institute of Northwestern University where I supervised masters level students in the Counseling Psychology Program of Northwestern University. I taught group therapy to psychiatric residents at Rush University Medical school for almost a decade.
In 2015 I returned to private practice where I do psychotherapy, consultation and supervision.
